    Artists - Kid Bangham
Kid grew up in the steel town of Coopersburg, PA before moving to rural Pennsylvania at the age of 18 with a friend who worked in a local record store and had access to the store's records. After hearing "Big Boss Man" from Jimmy Reed, Kid fell in love with the blues and began to study the roots of the music. After moving to Boston in the late 70's, he met Duke Robillard who told Kid that Sugar Ray and the Bluetones were looking for a new guitarist. As a raw, but aspiring and talented guitarist, Kid joined the band in 1980, honed his considerable guitar skills and learned first hand about life on the road. They recorded "Knockout" and "Don't Stand In My Way" and established themselves as the reigning kings of the blues in Boston and a major force nationwide. Kid was asked to join the Fabulous Thunderbirds in 1990 thanks to his lightning fast guitar work and stage presence. He toured constantly with the Fabulous Thunderbirds-traveling the world many times over, appearing on the Jay Leno show and playing at President Clinton's inauguration. After 4 years, Kid decided to leave the Thunderbirds to foster his own creative talents. As a result, Rainman Records presents Somebody's Got To Suffer. This album is uniquely powerful and diverse in its songwriting, sound and style. It turns up the heat with white-hot, guitar burners, electrifying rockers and soulful ballads. With the release of this album, Kid Bangham has created a stunning and expolive sound that will satisfy fans of great guitar.
