The band's presentation, both audio and visual, radiates from the stage. The style is pure-we're having a party and you're invited! Dressed in zoot suits and variations of Barbarella, they blend Geroge Clinton and basic funk rhythms with big band, swing, pop and soul songs. Their creation of the conceptual character Mimi and Kid Creole's search for her became the basis for a Granada TV special broadcast entitled, "There's Something Wrong in Paradise" Kid Creole and the Coconuts are ready to dazzle their worldwide fans with a new show and CD.
